EditedI started this blog with the intent of providing a written version of the videos that I posted on YouTube. Because I would exhaust most of my energy into my videos, I did not have any motivation to practically do the same thing, but in written form. My blog has been neglected for a very long time, so this is my attempt to revive my blog, not as a business tool for my YouTube channel, but as an online personal diary to document my post-graduate experience and to share my narrative with people who are interested in reading.

I don’t have very many credentials. I think that the most impressive thing about me is that I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, but what does that exactly say about me other than that I successfully avoided taking a math class in college? I consider myself to have a unique and hard-to-explain way of looking at life. I am an observer and like to look and understand things, rather than talk about them out loud. I absolutely cannot stand staying in one place for too long. I get bored way too quickly. Because I’m too broke to travel to faraway places and go on constant adventures, I chose writing as my plane ticket.

Although I would not consider myself to be a dedicated writer (Trust me, I hated writing essays in college as well), I must admit, it is one of the most liberating things a person can do. Writing allows for us to release our deep, innermost thoughts and put them in print. Writing allows us to be the authors of our own narratives. Writing allows us to be free.

This is exactly what I intend to accomplish with this blog.
