So, I’m a little late on the monthly faves train, but I thought, “better late than never, right?” Since February is the month of love, I wanted to give a little nod to a few things I loved this past month. Also, this post contains affiliate links, so if you click on a link and purchase any of my recommendations, I will receive a small commission which will go back to the creation and maintenance of this blog. Thank you!
Style & Beauty:
NYX Auto eyebrow pencil “Dark Brown” & “Black”
I’ve been using this brow pencil since I discovered the art of “doing your brows.” I recently gave this product a break to try a Korean brand, and although I loved that pencil as well, the time and shipping it took to get to the US was not worth the wait. Anyways, I ended up coming back to this brow pencil, and it honestly never fails me. It comes with a retractable pencil on one end, and a blending brush on the other. Super affordable and really easy to use. Set it with the NYX brow mascara, and you’re good to go!
Essie polish “Lady Like”
I found this polish by accident while I was perusing the nail polish aisle as Ulta was closing, and when I saw it, I fell in love and I knew that I had to have this shade and will repurchase it all the time, every time. This polish is basically a modest lilac mixed in with a little bit of nude. It’s a modest color that will go with any outfit and any skin tone. I wore this color on my nails for 3 weeks, chipped and all, and it still looked good.
I am so happy that I made this purchase. Before buying this Tupperware, my lunches looked super basic with everything in ziploc bags, and sauce spilling everywhere. My backpack smelled like salad dressing for a solid two months. After I got this Tupperware, I nixed the ziplocs and kept my food more organized and fresh. I have now reached #lunchgoals
Arts & Entertainment
The Wedding Planner
I will always turn to this movie if I am having a quiet night-in all to myself. This movie always entertains me and I always relate to Mary’s busy-body-hopeless-romantic personality.
Ed Sheeran “Shape of You”
This song is catchy af and I will never skip over it when it comes on Spotify. I basically know all the words at this point.
Anker Powercore+ 10050
This battery keeps my phone alive all the time, and surprisingly, I like using it at home the most. The reason being that I can’t be bothered reaching for my cord in my bedroom while I’m cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Using my power bank at home allows me to chill out on the couch without worrying if my phone can reach. If I’m in my bed, then I would use the wall plug, but I am always out and about at home, so a power bank is definitely necessary.
